Building Information Modelling

BIM is the process of creating and managing information digitally across construction projects, it forms a life-cycle to ensure risk and mistakes are reduced. It is the digital concept of all aspects of the built asset, every aspect is covered throughout each stage development, design, and construction.

This model offers a better visual representation of design and construction.
Software is utilised by laying multiple models on top of one another to see if the end results are achievable this process identifies clashes with in the design that can be managed and rectified.

BIM identifies if information submitted is fit for design and also fit for construction and also represents what has been constructed, collaborative information is shared on a platform and is continually updated.
